Lausanne-Nyon-Geneva

Day 5: Lausanne-Nyon-Geneva

This last part of the route I recommend doing it if you have more time because it is by far the least attractive in the country. I would dedicate these days somewhere else and leave this for a trip of at least 10 days. These are the main places to visit:

Lausanne

Lausanne is the fourth most populous city in Switzerland. The city is known as the Olympic Capital, since it is the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee, in addition to the also sports Olympic Museum.

Highlights include the Cathedral of Lausanne in the old quarter, the Olympic Museum, the Château d'Ouchy and the sports area around the Pierre-de-Coubertin stadium.

Nyon

The small town of Nyon is on the shores of Lake Geneva halfway between Geneva and Lausanne.

In summer, the place is a real paradise for water sports enthusiasts and nature.
