To visit the best known of New York you can visit Manhanttan by walking, but to visit all neighborhoods it is necessary to use the metro or other transports. The Metro network is very extensive although the quality is not very good.
The best time to visit New York is from May to September which are the hottest months although there may always be a rainy day.
